The Story

Christmas morning 1987 at the Balcatta house. The kids are tearing into presents while Dad films everything. You can hear Mum in the background telling everyone to slow down so she can see what they got. The tree is the big artificial one they used for years — the one with the slightly crooked star on top. Marco gets a cricket bat, and you can see the moment his face lights up.

Christmas morning at the family home.
